Inspection Quality Systems and Products Certification

According to the trend of food safety consumption, the food quality and safety can play with the role model that governmental control bodies and consumers shall request from food manufacturers. Presently, governmental agencies have measured to transfer the farm certification of primary production in accordance with Good Agriculture Practices (GAP) for private sectors interested. This is for supporting to the Enhancement of Thai Agricultural Standard A.D. 2008 to establish the inspection and certification body.

The Central Laboratory (Thailand) Co., Ltd. (Central Lab Thai), operated since 2003, has focused on providing quality testing and food safety services with validity and accuracy under the international standard of ISO/IEC 17025 for product entrepreneurs and exporters together with working system that are full of professionalism and reliability. This is a functional part to move Thai food forward to the world market with quality and acceptance.

In 2012 with confidence on throughout the operational performance, Central Lab Thai has enlarged the scope to act as the inspection and certification body for working on the inspection and certification of quality and production systems. The process focuses to inspect and certify the quality and production systems, underlying to the standard requirements. Certainly, the company is ready to act as the certification body, according to ISO/IEC 17065 and ISO/IEC 17020 under the accreditation of the National Bureau of Agricultural Commodity and Food Standards (ACFS) and the accreditation, according to ISO/IEC 17021-1 in scope of GMP/HACCP.

Under Central Lab Thai, the Inspection and Certification Division acts as the inspection body (IB) and certification body (CB) and has performed the process of auditing and certification services in scopes as following:

1. Certified applicants will receive a certificate in accordance with GAP, CoC, Organic, GMP/ HACCP and TAS standards, specified into the service scope.
2. Certified applicants can apply the logo mark of CENTRAL LAB THAI and the accreditation logo mark for public relations.
3. Certified applicants can request to use the Q Mark and Organic Thailand Mark from ACFS and Certification applicants of Forestry and Forest Products can also use logo of TFCC and PEFC
4. CENTRAL LAB THAI enhances the certification confidence together with the quality assurance system of Good Aquaculture Practices and Good Agricultural Practices and Good Manufacturing Practices for companies, manufacturing partners and consumers.
